What Are PDUs and Why Are They Important in Data Centres?

Power Distribution Units (PDUs) are a fundamental part of the electrical infrastructure within data centres and server rooms, IT environments, and network cabinets. These devices allocate electrical power from a main source to multiple pieces of equipment such as servers, switches, storage devices, and communication hardware.
